A live lead from the marketplace, as buyers see it before paying

Live inventory

  • 6,875audited leads live
  • 20states
  • 28%with a verified email

The problem

Cold lists die on the first line.

You have bought lists before. Here is where they fail, and what each lead here comes with instead.

  1. Unverified emails bounce

Lists scraped once and sold many times go stale. Every bounce counts against the domain you send from, and enough of them send the next campaign to spam.

  2. Generic pitches get ignored

An owner can tell a template from a note about their own site. "I noticed your website" with nothing specific after it reads as a mass mailing.

  3. You audit instead of selling

Checking each site by hand before you write takes the hour you meant to spend on calls, proposals and follow-ups.

The solution

Every lead is an audit, not a row.

Each business is audited and scored from 0 to 100 for the 6 services below, so you pick leads by what you sell. How scoring works

  • Web design

The site looks dated, breaks on a phone or still runs on a free builder.

    Example finding+35 points
The site runs on a free website builder subdomain.
  • SEO

Search engines have little to rank: missing titles, thin pages, no page per service.

    Example finding+15 points
The homepage has no page title, so search results show a bare address.
  • Local presence

The Google listing trails the local competition on reviews, rating or details.

    Example finding+25 points
Review count is in the bottom quarter for this type of business in its area.
  • Ads and tracking

Nothing measures visits or calls, or the business buys no ads where its rivals do.

    Example finding+20 points
No analytics or tag manager detected; conversions are not being measured.
  • Conversion and AI

A visitor who wants to book, ask a question or get a quote has no quick way to do it.

    Example finding+20 points
There is no online booking; every appointment request goes through a phone call or a form.
  • Website maintenance

Certificates, software and security settings are out of date.

    Example finding+25 points
The security certificate is invalid or expired, so visitors see a browser warning.

How it works

From your service to a sent email in 4 steps.

  1. Pick the service you sell

Every lead carries a score for each of the 6 services, so the list sorts itself around what you offer.

    • Web design
    • SEO
    • Local presence
    • Ads and tracking
    • Conversion and AI
    • Website maintenance
  2. Filter by state, vertical and score

Narrow to a metro area, a trade, a tier or a finding such as "no online booking".

  3. Buy shared or exclusive with credits

Read the findings first. Then take a shared copy or keep the lead to yourself.

  4. Send from Gmail, Instantly, Smartlead or lemlist

Export the lead with its 3 email sequence and send from your own inbox or tool.

Exclusive

Sold to 1 buyer, for every service. It is on offer only while nobody holds a copy, and once you buy it nobody else can.

For high-value pitches: a redesign or a retainer where you want to be the only one in the inbox.

Questions

What buyers ask before the first order.

Where do the leads come from?

From public Google Maps listings and each business's own website. Our engine visits the site, audits it, compares the business with up to 3 local competitors and scores it for 6 services before the lead goes on sale. A business without a website is scored from its Google listing alone and sold under the No website tab.

How scoring works

How fresh are they?

Every lead is scored before it goes on sale and stays on sale for at most 45 days, then it is retired. Each lead shows how many days ago it was published, and you can filter for the last 7, 14 or 30 days.

What does "verified email" mean?

The address was checked with an email verification service before the lead was published. Leads that passed are marked Verified email, and you can filter for them. Right now 28% of live leads have one. Other leads carry an accept-all email, on a domain that takes mail for every address, or a general inbox such as info@, which most small businesses use because they have no other email. Every lead is labeled with what it has, a phone included.

What the contact labels mean

What if it bounces?

Report it from the lead within 7 days of buying and the credits come back to your balance at once. Wrong data is covered the same way. A refund on a lead is in credits, not cash.

Do you send the emails?

No. MotiveLeads never sends email. You send from your own inbox or sending tool, such as Gmail, Instantly, Smartlead or lemlist, with the sequence and the exports that come with each lead.

Can I filter by my city?

Yes. Filter by state and by metro area, which covers a city and the towns around it, then narrow by vertical, tier, reviews and the findings you pitch.

Browse leads

Can competitors buy the same lead?

A shared lead is sold to up to 3 buyers in total, whatever service each one sells, so another agency may hold it too. An exclusive lead is sold to 1 buyer only, for every service, and only while nobody holds a copy. Each card shows how many copies are already sold before you buy.

What are credits?

1 credit is $1 of lead value; you spend credits on leads. You buy them in packs, from 20 credits for $19. They stay valid for 12 months from purchase. Unspent credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

See pricing

Is this compliant with CAN-SPAM?

You send the emails, so you are the sender under CAN-SPAM and the rules of the places you send to: an honest sender name and subject line, your postal address in the email, and a working way to opt out that you honor. The sequences are written to one business about its own site, and the terms set out your duties.

Read the terms

Can a business opt out?

Yes. A listed business can ask to be removed on the opt-out page. When the request is processed, its lead is taken off sale, its contact details are deleted and its domain is suppressed, so it is not listed again.
