The bounce guarantee

What happens when a lead's email bounces or its details are wrong, how to report it, and when the credits come back.

If the email on a lead you bought bounces, or the lead's details turn out to be wrong, you get your credits back. You report it yourself, and the refund happens the moment you do.

How to report a bounce

  1. Open the lead from My leads and go to the Outcome tab.
  2. Choose Bounced when the email came back, or Bad data when the business, its contact or its details are wrong.

Reported within 7 days of your purchase, the credits you paid for that lead go back to your balance at once. Nobody has to approve it.

The Outcome tab shows the last day of your guarantee, and My leads marks the leads whose guarantee is about to end.

What it covers

  • An email that bounces.
  • Wrong data: the wrong business, a contact that is not theirs, or details that do not match the business.

What it does not cover

  • No reply, or a reply that says no. The guarantee is about the data, not the result of your outreach.
  • A report made after the guarantee has ended.
  • Free leads. They cost no credits, so there is nothing to refund. Report the bounce anyway: it is recorded, and when you report it within 7 days of getting the lead, the email is checked again.

Each lead is refunded once.

Other problems with a lead

For anything else, such as a site that was redesigned after the audit or a lead you already had, use Report a problem with this lead on the same tab. We look into it and email you the outcome.
